What to Expect When You’re Not Expecting: A Guide to Common Clinical Complications and the Legal Implications

Annual Lecture Evening

Our Annual Lecture Evening has been scheduled for 16 May 2017-commencing at 6pm  The venue will be the same as in previous years – Penrith RSL, Hornseywood Room, Castlereagh ST, Penrith.

Our specialists will be present some very interesting lectures this year and we also have a guest speaker – Dr Craig Brown, from ADA(NSW). Lecture topics will be announced soon.

Annual Lecture evening

Our Annual Lecture evening was held last night, 16 March 2016, at the Penrith RSL.  The lecture was enjoyed by many of our local doctors and dentist and we would like to take this opportunity to thank our sponsors, AFT Pharmaceuticals, DENTSPLY Implants and Geistlich Biomaterials.  Without their generous support we would not be able to present this wonderful event to the doctors and dentist in our local community.  We are already planning our 2017 lecture and will post details as soon as we have settled on a date.

Our 2016 Lecture Evening will be held on 17 March , in the Hornseywood Room, Penrith RSL, Castlereagh St, Penrith.

Refreshments will commence at 6pm and the lectures will commence promptly at 6.30pm.

Stephen was invited by Dentsply to lecture in China on the Astra system. He presented to dentists in Shenzhen, Shanghai and Beijing in September,  on implant planning, current CAD-CAM systems and ideal abutment and restoration design. The highlight was speaking at the Chinese Dental Conference in Shanghai to several hundred dentists as part of an international programme with simultaneous translation.  He hopes to return to China in both a professional and recreational capacity.

Ethical Sales and Communication Workshop

Dr Stephen Travis and Dr Prashant Patel are hosting a webinar on 28 August 2015. 6pm to 9pm.    Ashley Latter will be presenting the webinar.

Ashleigh is a highly sought after international speaker and communication trainer based in the UK.  He has been involved in the dental industry for over 20 years and has helped to improve 1000’s of dentists communication skills using his ‘ethical sales’ technique.

Ashleigh will be presenting via webinar for the first time in Australia.  This will be followed by a discussion by Dr Prashant  Patel and Dr Stephen Travis on how these techniques can be applied for the Australian market.
